Our room had a lovely welcoming package with an adorable bunny stuffy for our daughter and sweet treats. The front desk gave us excellent direction and advice on local attractions. The spa is a very nice perk, the cool salt water relaxing pool was so refreshing on the hot summer day lovely snacks and tea. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant but did enjoy the cocktails and ambiance bar...

Italy Lake District, we stayed in several 4 star rated hotels, but I really liked Hotel Gran Duca di York overall: the welcoming reception upon arrival, the very helpful staff, the great city central location within 10 mn of the famous Duomo, which was wonderful to retrieve to from the 90s temperatures in between my exploration walks. Parcheggio interno non custodito che alla sera può risultare completo obbligando a parcheggiare a pagamento se si vuole lasciare vicino all'hotel o rimane esternamente gratuito nei pressi del centro commerciale ( 200 metri a piedi). Unico neo hotel scelto per la possibilità della ricarica elettrica ma prezzi proibitivi ( 12 euro di parcheggio più costo ricarica 0,90 cent a kw)."
