"I stayed for 16 nights on a business trip. Having access to a laundry facility was a huge plus. Unfortunately, this was the only good thing about this place. The hotel displayed a 3-star rating at the entrance but falls short of many requirements for this rating: - The room is cleaned only once a week. - Some staff do not speak English. - Cleaning staff are not present on weekends. On my first night (which falls on a weekend), I spotted a cockroach in my room and killed it. I then requested staff to remove the cockroach, but was told that cleaning staff were not on-site. Subsequently, the ants took care of the cockroach for me. Midway through my 1st week, my door handle fell off. Fortunately, a member of staff fixed it the following day. On my last 3 nights, the air conditioning broke down in the middle of June. The room got very hot at night. The gym has no air conditioning or ventilation. The hotel is also double-used as a student accommodation. Many fellow residents are therefore very loud. Given the affordable price, I would have been happy staying here if these shortcomings were communicated first-hand. The 3-star rating is therefore misleading. I might have to stay here again in the future due to the hotel's proximity to where I work. Therefore, I hope the listed issues can be fixed."
