"The road to this place is absolutely terrible. Worst road I drove in Iceland, potholes everywhere and ruined the experience to start. Then the check in window is super short from 5-8pm so that doesn’t offer much flexibility. It’s not even necessary when it’s just a single person there telling you which bubble is yours. There’s no key or anything, the bubbles are accessible by anyone. In that case the check in experience could be more flexible since the person isn’t really helpful anyways, could...

"Very lovely place to stay. Room is small but cozy and well appointed. Bathrooms were very nice. The greenhouse is beautiful; wish we had time to stay there longer."

"I have never wrote a poor review in 20 years of travel. This hotel deserves it. Rude front desk staff. She treated us like we were in a cattle line but we were the only ones checking in. She basically threw the key at us, told us too quickly where the cottage was located. It was a hot day and she told us not to open the windows due to biting flies (no a/c). Told us to leave the key in the door by 11am in her tone, don’t bother us. Our country view that we paid for was looking out at garbage...

"It's a basic room. One shower between 4. We found the room very noisy, right next to the kitchen and dining, so a lot of clattering until late. The staff at breakfast seemed more like security, checking room numbers and watching to make sure nobody took anything. Picked for the location which was to get the bus to Landmanalugger."
