"A fantastic cost effective place to stay. The location is brilliant! Located on the river close to outstanding restaurants. Brown and RISD is right there and offer wonderful places to visit. Being an artist the RISD museum was fun and inspiring to visit. The room was very large with views to the street and the river. The bathroom is shared but it never was an issue. The only downside was the noise from cars cruising by at night. Noise canceling headphones made it very tolerable. The only other issue was the antique door hardware needed some love. I recommend staying here if you are more laid back and flexible. I would stay there again."

"The hotel was under construction for renovation and that should have been disclosed prior to. Also, I was charged $3.00 on my credit card for some reason. I didn’t touch the bottled waters or anything in the room that would relate to this charge."
