Clean rooms, very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. The location was easy access to the beach and had beautiful views. We also were able to walk to lunch and for mini golfing. Unfortunately our only complaint is the town enforced curfew where everyone had to be inside by 9pm. It was no fault of the hotel but it did make the hotel very loud Saturday night (it was quiet Sunday). The hotel itself was secure but we were definitely nervous.

This hotel was exceptional. The staff was pleasant and kind from the front desk to the kitchen to the maid staff. May not be fancy or upscale, but very clean. Beds and furniture was very comfortable. Breakfast has a lot of choices and very good.

Pro: Clean Rooms and Public Spaces Con: Facility is dated and could certainly use some updates. Pro: Complementary breakfast is one of the best I have seen in a hotel, with plenty of seating. Pro: Location is perfect with easy access to area shops.restaurants. and of course right on the boardwalk. Pro: all rooms have balconies overlooking the beach. Con: room walls are Very thin and balconies close. Our neighbors were very loud late into the night and could be clearly heard in our room. They also smoked Marijuana on their balcony from morning to night ( despite the no smoking policy ) which permeated our space and ability to allow our children to enjoy the balcony. Pro: there is an indoor pool and hot tub for days when the weather doesn't allow for enjoying the beach. Con: pool area is small and can get crowded fast. Hot Tub is designed for 4 people. Pro: hotel staff is friendly and helpful If traveling on a budget or with young children, this is probably a good option. When I return to Virginia Beach, I will probably opt to stay at a more updated, modern facility- but would stay here again.

This has nothing to do with the property itself, but do your research on Virginia Beach and make sure that there’s not a curfew. There was one when we went and our entire trip was a plan to smoke cigars on the beach but we couldn’t do that because of the curfew the room was great. The view was perfect. We had the king suite with the ocean view on the ninth floor.

The cleaning staff needed to clean a little bit better. They did not sweep the floors properly and left things on the floors and one day they didn’t even come in and clean the room. They just left towels by the door.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good and included waffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, yogurt and fruits. We were very happy with our stay there.

Room overlooking the ocean, watching dolphins and listening to the waves crash, it was perfect. Staff were excellent. Room cleaned and bed made every day. We'll be back for sure.

The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful oceanfront view. The suite is really spacious and the separate bedrooms were perfect. Both had more than adequate storage, lighting tvs, and outlets/chargers. The balcony was private and very large that came with two chairs and a table. Breakfast was surprisingly good. It would have been nice if the serving time was longer (7:30-9:30) and the coffee machine allowed for bigger servings. The food was replenished promptly and the breakfast staff was so nice. We didn’t use the pool but the area was nice and the gym was larger than I expected. The lobby was large, clean and pretty quiet. Another great amenity was the free parking. The garage was a little tight, but it was well lit and key card

Breakfast staff was excellent. Rude guest services. Over crowded pool and hot tub. No one enforcing rules allowing 20+ children in the hot tub with a 4 person limit. Even the lobby was ridiculously loud. Complained to front desk and they could care less.

The breakfast was good, all the staff was very nice we also had a nice view of the water, but the room hard floors wasn’t cleaned they should definitely clean them a little better. Overall nice place to stay.

The room was very nice and cleaned. Fantastic ocean view. Breakfast was real delicious food. The variety of food offered was amazing and the staff were very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

I booked this hotel based on what appeared to be updated photos and recent reviews, but the actual experience was completely misleading and did not reflect what was advertised. From the moment we arrived, the environment felt uncomfortable and questionable, to the point where it made you think twice about something as simple as leaving food out. The hallways were extremely hot and stuffy, especially when getting off the elevator, and the overall condition of the property did not feel well maintained. Inside the room, several basic amenities were either missing or not working. The phone did not function, making it impossible to contact the front desk, and there was no proper storage or closet space, which was not clearly disclosed. There were also multiple safety and maintenance issues, including a broken latch on the sliding balcony door and a balcony railing that felt unstable and made noise when touched. Cleanliness was a major concern. There were small, dark insects present under the linens, and the room appeared to have poor paint work and overall upkeep. Additionally, there was no visible elevator inspection certificate posted, with signage stating it was only available upon request, which raised further concerns. I did attempt to address these issues with staff and asked if anything could be done to accommodate the situation, but no meaningful resolution was offered before I chose to check out. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations and did not align with how th
