The property was as described, except for the AC not working when we arrived. There was not any advance communication about the air, though the property processed full payment prior to our arrival. We were provided the notice that the air was not working at the end of the check-in process. Additionally, we were advised that the air was fixed later in the evening but the room was still warm throughout the night. The next morning when I notified the front desk that the room was still warm I was advised that maintenance should have been by to reset the thermostat. The front desk staff reset the thermostat following my inquiry. Throughout our stay there were guest complaining about not having air. Communication and response to this matter was not handled properly.

It was a good value, amenities, free parking and balcony were great. Downsides: The lobby is right near the hustle and bustle of the pool area, kinda hard to hear and even form a line. The hallway and even my room reeked of weed. I tried to air it out by opening the balcony door but, it was still there. Seemed a little better by morning, but I only was staying 1 night anyway.

Room over looked a marina, nice view but lots of noise next to the highway. The AC wasn't working in the entire building but it did get fixed before departing. Good value for the room

Beach view was great. Pool hours were inconsistent with the listing. Hot tub wasn’t working. We enjoyed our room, but not the two slow elevators. There was also a bit of a weird smell in our hallway.

Upon arrival, I was informed of a temporary 9:30 PM curfew affecting the boardwalk area. Unfortunately, this was the first time I was made aware of this restriction. At no point prior to my arrival did I receive any communication or notification from the hotel regarding this curfew. As you can understand, the primary purpose of my trip was to enjoy the boardwalk and surrounding nightlife. Had I been informed in advance of these limitations, I would have made the decision to cancel or reschedule my stay. The lack of transparency significantly impacted my overall experience and the value of my trip.

We drove from NYC to the hotel, got there at 11:30 and they told us we have to wait for check in time. Went back at 4:30 and the room still was not ready until 5:30. They need to deal better with time

Resort is old and seems outdated. The green carpet in the halls and overwhelming smell was a bit much. Room was above average. They were working on the building the day we arrived, hot water took like 10 minutes to get hot but good after that. Pillows and bed were below average. View was good from our room. Noise was not an issue.

I’ll admit I was a bit nervous before arriving, based on some of the negative reviews, but we had a great experience. The property is definitely older so everything isn’t perfect, but the renovations in progress are impressive. The only real cons were a slightly odd smell and the door to the balcony wouldn’t open so that was disappointing, but we still had a beautiful view from the large window. Adorable renovated kitchen, very comfy bed (smelled like bleach- nice & clean), clean floors (a big one for me) and clean bathroom. The Roma restaurant food was decent, but very convenient. The lady who worked the restaurant counter was extremely friendly. Would definitely return!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Ocean Key Resort! From check-in to check-out, everything was truly top-notch. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant the entire time. A special shout-out to Quil, who checked me in and was absolutely amazing! So professional, welcoming, and attentive to every need. They really set the tone for a great stay. Now let me talk about the room… because WOW. We had a top-floor room with a balcony, and the view alone was breathtaking. But what really stood out to me was how unbelievably clean everything was. When I say spotless, I mean SPOTLESS. Every single appliance, every surface, there wasn’t a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. You can tell they take real pride in making sure everything is perfectly maintained. The room was not only clean but beautifully put together, comfortable, and peaceful. Sitting out on the balcony just took the whole experience to another level. Between the amazing service, the attention to detail, the cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere, this was truly money well spent. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a flawless, relaxing stay!

The bed wasn’t comfortable. They had some type of cheap plastic over the mattress so everytime you moved you heard it. The pillows were not comfortable. The toilet seat was loose in the bathroom. The WiFi was horrible so you really couldn’t watch tv. The top of our door looked like someone tried to break in before and when I was leaving I grabbed the door and caught a splinter in my finger. Our room was above the parking lot and when someone started their charger it woke me and my wife out of our sleep. I wouldn’t stay there again.

It is ocean view but sits back across the street overlooking a restaurant. The hot tub was out of order and we weren't informed until we checked in. The king suite was very nice and the bed was very comfortable.
