"A uniquely beautiful property. Probably the finest renovation of an historic structure I have ever seen. The pink motif dovetails perfectly with the building. The amenities, including the reverse osmosis water available in a self-serve fashion on every floor, was great! An excellent espresso bar, too."

"We rented the room for the rooftop pool. Upon arriving we found out there was no pool. It was not their fault but it rained the whole time we stayed so the rooftop bar was closed. We would have saved money and rented elsewhere with a pool had we known."

"A very nice hotel. Just a few suggestions. Why does the bed have a down comforter as the only blanket in July in southern Virginia? The bed is too close to a loud air conditioner that blows frigid air to one side of your body when sleeping. The shower had two soap dispensers but no shampoo. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel."

"Had a great time with the pinball machines and game systems! Kids loved them too! And it was a great location right by the highway, but in a quiet neighborhood."

"The staff was fine but completely overworked and underpaid. When we arrived at 10:45 PM at night there wasn't anyone at the front desk for about 15 minutes. Then a man came in who was sweating from apparently cleaning rooms. We were told our room wasn't ready yet! Check- in was at 3 PM, and it was 10:45 PM! So, we had to wait some more for bed linens to be put on. I can't even go into more details, but suffice it to say this did not seem to be the staff's fault. They were understaffed. I would...

"For the price we paid, the amenities did not meet our expectations. Breakfast was not included, and not even complimentary bottled water was provided. There was no on-site parking available, so we had to park on the street. Additionally, the beds were very small and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, we expected a much better experience for the price"

"Hotel was very dirty. Shower curtain was orange at the bottom with other stains all over it. Tub and floors were not cleaned and fridge was full of other peoples food."
