I forgot to write my review earlier when I stayed there in May 2024. It’s a beautiful location, I stayed in a cabin with an uninterrupted view of the sea. I walked everyday into Visby along the footpath on the coast, it was gorgeous. The room was clean and staff super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone, as the rooms are clean, great staff, and great rates.

Missing important information

Something that Hotels.com need to inform customers is that this place do not offer towels, bedding and room cleaning. You can get this at an additional cost (don’t know the price) and for 1200kr they can clean after your visit else you have to clean the area yourself. Please check the website of this place before booking.

The room and board were very clean and we loved the breakfast buffets. The room in the summer was a bit stuffy and could have done with a small fan. Overall it was a great place and we highly recommend.

Väldigt bra familjeboende.

Sehr ruhig und sauber. Leider sind die Einkausmöglichkeiten und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten zu Fuss ziemlich eingeschränkt. Zum Glück können Velos gemietet werden. So ist man auch ohne Auto schnell im Stadtzentrum !

Staying in this seaside cottage was like stepping into a dream. The cottage itself was charming, warm, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for anyone seeking peace, nature, and a break from the noise of daily life. Whether enjoying a morning coffee with an ocean view or an evening walk along the coast, everything felt just right. Its location couldn’t be better—close enough to enjoy the sea anytime, yet private enough to truly relax. This stay was a perfect escape, and I would happily return again. Fantastiskt läge. Något smått i dubbelrummet men ok. Lite slitet då toalettdörrens gångjärn släppte från dörren. Frukost lagom urval. Bra med cykeluthyrning och trevlig receptionist. Vi rekommenderar boendet då läget med avstånd både till Visby och havets strand väger upp.

God beliggenhed

Dejligt ophold i lejlighed for os som familie. Lejligheden blev brugt som base til at køre rundt på øen og det var nemt at komme til og fra. Vi brugte 1 dag i den gamle del af Visby, og ellers så vi flere dele af øen.

Gustavsvik, Visby

Vi har tre år i rad avslutat vår 3.5 veckors vistelse på Gotland med tre nätter i Gustavsvik. Mysigt ställe precis vid havet, underbara solnedgångar. Rätt små rum, men planerar man bara bra så funkar det fint. Fint cykelavstånd till Visby, bra cykelväg. Stora härliga gräsytor att röra sig på, bra med bord utställda där det går bra att äta sin kvällsmat (som vi oftast köper på Gotlands Matmarknad, som ligger 5 min cykelväg söderut) och njuta av solnedgången. Vi kommer med största sannolikhet tillbaka igen nästa sommar. Det är så skönt att avsluta med hotellfrukost och att inte behöva städa ur någon stuga innan man ska med båten. Dessutom väldigt nära till båten.

Sovrummet på husets framsida var extremt lyhört. Man kunde höra minsta lilla ljud från grannarna, ibland hela nätterna. Dessutom var det problem med fiskmåsar som lät bätterna igenom. För någon som inte sover djupt så väcktes man många gånger under nätterna. De andra som sov i sovrummen på husets baksida hörde ingenting.

Mysigt boende vid vattnet!

Vi spenderade en vecka i juli på Visby Gustavsvik i ett av deras dubbelrum. Rummet i sig var rätt litet, men fräscht. Skön säng och helt okej badrum! Tacksamt med den lilla kylen och vattenkokaren som möjliggjorde att vi kunde göra lättare middagar hemma. Mysigt också med den lilla uteplatsen som varje dubbelrum har. Den största vinningen var dock läget vid havet och närheten till Visby samt exempelvis krusmyntagården och själsby! Perfekt utgångsläge helt enkelt och avkopplande bara i sig självt. Frukostbuffén var också toppen! Hade allt man kunde tänkas vilja ha till frukost. Det minus jag kan komma på var cyklarna som var rätt dyra att hyra per dygn, 180kr i jämförelse med 140kr om du hyrde inne i Visby. Men allt som allt en mycket härlig vecka!

Ett bra hotell för det priset. Var dock väldigt slitet och såg därmed lite sjaskigt ut trots att det var välstädat. Lakan och handukar rena och fräscha. Lite för mjuka sängar för vårt tycke. Men om man bara ska ha rummet att sova i så kan vi klart rekommendera hotellet

Vi bodde 5 nätter här. Enkelt men helt ok om man bara ska sova. Fantastiskt frukost buffe och vänlig personal på alla sätt. Väldigt prisvärt och gång avstånd till strand och hamnen (30min ).
