"We were given a very warm welcome from our host. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It has been updated and was very clean and well taken care of. It is up among grape vineyards and gardens surrounded by beautiful forested hills. The owner was very knowledgeable about the culture and area contacts. For us, it really seemed like "heaven on earth". We want to return."

"Nice hotel a bit outside old city center. If you are planning a roadtrip around Slovenia this hotel offers a great starting point, it is close to everywhere, the highways just a minute away. Great room, comfy bed, a large bathroom and all very new and clean. A very complete and tasty breakfast buffé and free parking! Will be back!"

"Small boutique hotel. 12 good sized rooms per floor, three floors. Clean, modern hotel. Serves breakfast but no restaurant. No restaurants adjacent. Staff very nice and spoke perfect English. Air conditioner in my room clunked like it was a hundred years old. Impossible to sleep with it turned on. Only solution offered was to open window, which admittedly worked as the evenings cooled off."

"This is one of my worst experiences ever with a hotel. The space is basically a scam, with most things under construction, unsanitary conditions, no drapes (with sunrise here at like 4:00am). I felt that if I slept in one of the super dirty spaces, I would have catched an eye infection. No staff to help, but only a chat on WhatsApp that never replied. No Wifi. The place was so unacceptable that I am requesting a full refund and for the place to be dropped from Hotels.com. For the price, you...
