"The area in Vio is challenging. The staff was polite and professional. The booking did not show up and the rate paid for was not what expected. From the site it appeared to be a nice place and probably it was 20 years ago. The bug netting in room was not in good shape. AC was a fan and had to share bathroom. The lodge is located inside Tsavo East National Park, which means that guests have to pay entrance fee for the park to get to their accommodation. This would have been good to know in advance.
