The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. "5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

"This is an amazing hotel with splendid facilities, gardens, pools, activities and an elevated but a bit of a distant view of the sea. Very unique indeed, historical and a bit exotic even. You have to drive quite some time to get there but worth it. The staff are super friendly and helpful but sometimes the poolside service took more time. Great breakfast but we felt the dinner was a bit sub par compared to genuine Greek dishes we had at many small tabernas, but the hotels own taberna was great...
