"The property was clean and the front staff amazing! My complaint was with housekeeping. They came knocking early in the morning when we were still sleeping. They never came back all 3 days. I was shocked for 3 days no cleaning or replenishing toilet paper, trash pick up, etc."

"Room was cleaned every day with lots of clean towels provided. Parking was always very easy and very accessible at any hour. Wish breakfast hours could be extended just a bit as I often found it difficult getting to breakfast given the early hours. Also, lighting in accessible bathroom continues to be dim. Recommend that light bulbs be changed if possible to provide better lighting as that has been my experience for past few years."

"The price and location were great for our stay. The room smelled a little stale but wasn't too bad. Coffee station in the office was good to have. The small fridge lacked a freezer section, so our blue ice couldn't be re-chilled. (not the end of the world). It is a great value for the area!"

"Rooms were very dusty. Chair in Room had a big hole in it not usable. The place looks very run down. Dirty carpets. Bathroom. Toilet dirty. Bedding had stains. Kitchen filthy could t bring ourselves to eat the breakfast or ha e coffee there. The woman inn keeper looked. Felt sorry for her. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place."

"The owners did such a nice job at renovating this adorable motel. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable- pale green paint and wainscotting, white-washed ceilings and other stylish touches. They have really thought of every little detail to make the rooms special- a light up mirror in the bathroom, retro-looking fridge, nice wood and tile floors, complimentary local yogurt and granola- even a portable ironing board and iron are provided. "Beautifully decorated inside and gorgeous gardens and landscaping outside. A lovely serene spot away from the crowds that are only minutes away in downtown Stockbridge. The breakfasts were plentiful, artfully presented and delicious. Staff were friendly and very competent."

"The Shaker Mill Inn is located in West Stockbridge so it is away from the dense tourist traffic in Stockbridge, but is located with easy access to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Norman Rockwell Museum, and I90 and the rural Berkshires.
