Was in a great location and let us bring our dog. Convenient to everything we needed. Remote check for in so you do not see staff, but met all of our needs.

Old building. Shower wasn’t cleaned. 1/4 roll of toilet paper. A bar handing above bureau to hang clothes. Paper thin walls. Why would you rate this excellent?

We loved none formal do it yourself option. Room was small but had 2 comfortable beds. We loved the fact that we could use Red Lion Inn amenities because The Little Lion doesn’t have much. The Little Lion has separate room that was welcoming and can be used if people want to have breakfast or lunch to go. Room has 2 sitting areas like dining room and family room with big fridge. Bathroom window needs screen, otherwise when you open for ventilation, many things can crawl inside. Overall we enjoyed it.

The little lion is like an extra room annex to the Red Lion inn up the road in Sturbridge, which has all the amenities - Dining, pool, etc.

This place was a gem. It’s small and surrounded by nature but close to restaurants, shopping, wildlife viewing areas, and historical sites. I loved that pets are free. The grounds were nice with a picnic bench and a large fire pit. If I’m in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

This is a fantastic little hotel. Super nice & helpful people. Having access to the amenities at the Red Lion Inn is an extra bonus. We travel with our Newfoundland dog and staying here has been a great experience.

Super comfortable. Clean, not fussy, easy check-in/check out. Close to Tanglewood ! Breakfast at nearby Red Lion with a cup of coffee on the porch was excellent!

This has been a long time stop for us. It has always been a perfect location. The hotel is right at the base of Monument Mountain and it is truly breathtaking to see it out your window.

It’s in a beautiful location. Very clean. We never saw any staff because our room # and key code was sent to us. Went very smoothly. We really enjoyed our stay here. Only negative is some of the furniture is getting a little worn on top, and tv is a little small for the room, but we will definitely go back when we are in the area.

The stay was very good. It was clean and the plumbing worked great. The only issue is the air conditioner was noisy and kept kicking off and on. Other than that, the stay was what one would expect from a top notch motel.
