"We had an excellent stay at Stony Plain Suites. It was a great choice for our family and offered very good value for the price. The location is convenient, with easy access to West Edmonton Mall. There are also three nearby gas stations and a shopping centre, making it easy to get everything we needed. Our room was clean, comfortable, and included a kitchenette, which was very convenient for preparing simple meals. The only minor issue was that the hot plate took a little longer to heat up than expected. Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation for families looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly place to stay in the Edmonton area."

"Very helpful staff stayed past the closing time to check me in, could not have done any better. Room has good amenities. There is a little cafe right next door where you can have breakfast. This is a simple road side motel but has everything that matters. Many thanks."

"This property is an architectural gem. It has recently been sold and the new owners seem quite attentive and pleasant. It’s seen better days. The carpet is as old as God and the place really needs a good hallway clean. The rooms were clean. TVs didn’t have cable or Internet but not a big issue. Shower pressure was fantastic. They don’t make them like than anymore. Lots of soap, etc. we will go back as we go through drayton valley regularly. This hotel caters to crews. They have a lounge that has VLTs so we will definitely stay again. TLDR: for the price id do it again."

"The room was spacious and inside the noise was nil. My only complaint (and I should not complain about it because I did not mention anything to the front desk) but they play music in the outside entrance 24 hours a day and could hear that playing when trying to get to sleep. If it wasn’t for that I would definitely give them five stars. I guess I just felt that if I was the only one requesting it to be turned off during the night , then it really was not an issue."

"Great location, close to amenities, friendly staff, although an older building it is clean and fairly up to date, nice continental breakfast offered and plenty of parking. My only complaint is that you can smell the stall smoke from when smoking was allowed in the rooms."

"Don’t let the external appearance fool you- broken furniture, dismantled A/C units, clutter and tilting barbecues. The main hotel appears to be getting an upgrade. Comfortable, clean, budget priced, great service- and a made to order breakfast included."
