"Our hostess Shona greeted us upon our arrival and showed us where everything was located. The two bedroom apartment was immaculate and had all we needed for a delightful stay. As we were going to the Hobbiton movie set, the location was perfect since it was just a 15 minute car ride away."

"Room was very nice and warm. Lovely bed & pillows. Very quiet too. We were seriously disappointed with the television setup and also having no access to any Sky channels. I have travelled extensively internationally & throughout New Zealand - this is the first hotel I have stayed at where there is no standard access to local channels. Most of the Samsung channels provided are meaningless and not worth viewing - I find such a setup to be convoluted & not customer friendly."

"One of the best places i have stayed in New Zealand! Staff were amazing and very friendly. The best mattress - a proper mattress- ive had during my trip. The mattress was soft enough, not like a board, a full sized queen (not two singles pushed together) and was lower to the ground. Bathroom clean and tidy. Nice thick towels. "Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."

"Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. "We stayed here as it was close to Mystery creek for Fieldays and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean and well maintained. It was excellent value for money overall. The motel was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after long days walking around Fieldays.
