"We enjoyed our stay a lot. I will look for this hotel when I travel next time!! Only wish there was a pool. We stopped by restaurant called Reids ( not at the hotel, but just south of train Station- marvelous lunch!!"

"All excellent except the Alte Post restaurant was only accessed by stairs or a walk outside if you have any mobility issues. Nice big room, good shower and helpful staff. Restaurant food was very good and a generous, wide ranging breakfast buffet. ."

"This is my second stay at this gem of a hotel. It is ridiculous how much I love it. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully laid out. A better shower you will not find in all of Europe (great water pressure, beautiful fixtures, instantaneous hot water). The staff are friendly and efficient. It is located in the city center and if you are a runner, you are less than a third of a mile from a fabulous (mostly flat) river trail that goes miles in either direction. I stay here when visiting friends who have small children and would be overcome by guests staying over. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from them - so, you know, perfect, for my purposes. The hotel offers tremendous value for money. I am always surprised at the price as the amenities are absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended!"

"The location is excellent with walking distance proximity to the Old Town as well as public transport just near the Hotel. We had breakfast only once, as we consider it it somewhat overpriced and the cellar/basement room in which it was served was rather dark."

"Perfect location, clean room and convenience for restaurants and Bildungscampus. But hit and miss staff service. No one at desk on check out. Taxi booked was dubious as it charged 20 euros to train station after taking the long route. One of the check in staff was weird as well with no regard to my meal preference from menu but only what he was willing to serve."

"We had a very good stay at the Plaza Heidelberg. The location seemed a bit off when we first arrived because we entered through the back parking lot. However, we found it to be very convenient and walkable to all the sights we wanted to see. The room was clean and spacious and the staff at the front desk were personable and friendly. Breakfast had good options and was a good value for the money."
