We are glad to hear you were treated well by our staff, you certainly seemed very happy with your stay when you checked out with us at reception. Trains are part of the landscape here on the Kapiti Coast and in fact in many locations up and down Aotearoa. There are never that many trains during sleeping hours but I guess if you were disturbed by them it felt like there were. Wishing you a safe journey back to USA Robert.

Thank you for the feedback Warren. The road past our motel is quiet during night time hours but yes we agree the couple of trains that rumble on past can be disturbing if you are not used to them. Thankfully for all, ourselves included, there are not many!

We would have appreciated knowing which room you were in so we could check the bed - we buy top quality beds as we recognise how important this feature is - one must have a comfortable sleep! We are so sorry this was not your experience. Yes our property is of the block wall era however we have installed excellent heating and quality curtaining to counter that and keep guests warm. Feedback has been positive.

Glad you had a comfortable stay. We are indeed an older style motel property and provide all the same facilities and services as any other motel. Refurbishment of our rooms and property are ongoing.

Our executive apartments were refurbished 18 months ago. We are sorry to hear they are not to your liking. Our property itself is older in style but the rooms are definitely not. We believe this is clear in the room photos. We are aware Wellington Region motels will differ in rates from South Island - this is due to a number of valid reasons beyond our control. Perhaps your surprise at this had an impact on your overall stay. We can assure you our room rates are in line with other properties of a similar type and age in the area. We do however suggest booking direct may give you different options in this area.
