"The bedding and towels were of good quality and the room was clean however the general state of maintenance was very poor. The ensuite smelled of rot as evidenced in the state of the bath surround. The fan sounded like a jet engine. The window was almost impossible to put up or down but needed to be up to dissipate the smell of the bathroom. The hallways also smelt musty and there are lots of stairs up and down with your luggage. I would not stay here again."

"Just left the Toothless Mog but left a little bitvof outer hearts behind. Absolutely loved this unique B&B and the superb hosts, Rob and Janet. Every aspect if the full English breakfast was of the highest quality and very well cooked, although it requires a good appetite to finish it. Room was spotless and comfortable and of a quirky style unique to this charming place. Looking forward to an early return. 😀"

"Good stay - if the car park is full, space can be found on nearby side streets. Nice comfortable room and good breakfast served with flexible times. Just be aware they host a lot of live music, and it isn't a big building so expect to head down and join the crowd!"

"On the plus side, the bathroom was very clean. On the downside, there was no hot water in the shower. There was no alarm clock, or any clock, anywhere. There were no kleenex. The ceiling in the bedroom had water damage. The "hotel" had no staff. There was a number to call with questions, but nobody answered. "Room was very clean. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was delicious. My only criticism would be that there was only a small desk top fan. And in the middle of a heatwave the room was ridiculously hot."

"Really good location for the town. You can park on the garden street car park, you pay 8-8 and free over night. The accommodation is lovely, it’s clean and has everything you need. Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Would def return. The restaurant next door, is 15% off with your hotel door key. The burgers are to die for!"

The photos make it slightly more glamorous than it is but nonetheless, a clean, good sized room. Due to the age of the building, everything is a little creaky.
