"Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Bathroom did not have shampoo and toiletries replaced so had to use soap which was not ideal. Good parking and next to Anchor Lodge - great food and hospitality - highly recommend. Good view of marina but too cold to benefit so worked out quite expensive compared to other options"

"It was a very cold and wet few days in Nelson for us, but we had a good stay at The Hotel Nelson. We booked the 1 bedroom apartment which was a very generously spacious size for 3 adults! It was very cold out, but we got the heating fan cranked up and running and enjoyed the extra blankets for a comfortable stay. Kitchen facilities looked very good if you wanted to self cater. "My stay at Tides was comfortable, the staff was helpful and quick to communicate and the room was impeccably clean. The only issue was the garbage bins and toilet bins were not lined with bin bags- though I did make a last minute booking. Excellent location. Overall experience was 9.5/10 Highly recommend."
