"Very quaint in my opinion, almost a bed and breakfast feel. Room was very clean, had a workable desk for my laptop. The Steak & Ale restaurant was very good, I sat at the bar and got a really good burger. It was very busy there when I got there on Friday, seemed like a lot of people at the bar where regulars but they were talkative and friendly. "It was pretty quiet, not to many people staying but that was fine. I didn’t visit the pool area so I can’t speak for it but it was open and looked ok. My only complaint is the breakfast. There weren’t that many options. Most things were carbs (bread/bagels/cereal/pancakes). Juice options were great. But no eggs or meat. The bed was comfortable and the tv and amenities in the room all worked. Over all 3-4 stars. There was only one person on staff that I saw my entire stay. "

We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. "One of the best stays my husband and I have experienced in our entire lives. The property is beautiful, filled with life and history. It's incredibly cozy and comfortable, we both slept well. Breakfast was delicious and we didn't need lunch either day. We went to Stone mountain arts center for concert, had apps in bar prior.. we were welcomed back to the inn and questioned with how was the concert as we closed out our night back at bar.
