Mill Falls Resort Collection at the Lake

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We arrived early at the main hotel reception (Church Landing) and they let us check in early. We originally booked a room in the Palmer Inn. The rooms have been newly renovated and are well appointed. Lovely fire and balcony. However had a small issue with one of the beds in our room and the very helpful staff found us a replacement room straight away. They even upgraded up to a larger room on the Church Landing hotel with amazing views of the lake. The service charge seems a little high for those not using the amenities but they did have free tea, coffee, water and even some cereal bars and apples in reception. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to do much more than have a quick dip in the pool. Wish we had booked for longer to make use of the lake."

"The check in was fine, but the young man seemed somewhat distracted. The indoor pool was dirty on the second day of our use. The arcade was a disappointment, some of the games were not working. Hotel was centrally located."

"Our first room was clean and well maintained. The hard tile floor didn't have and old-room carpet smell. The bathroom ceiling leaked the 3rd night, we were given the next available clean room that morning. The next room smelled like curry. The hotel is close to the shore, everything we wanted to do was an hour or less away. Quiet rooms, no traffic noise, adequate breakfast."

"I liked the property and would stay there again. Our room had the kitchenette and was very spacious. The bed was comfortable, clean and room was quiet. The bathroom could use a nice deep cleaning. It wasn’t horrible but the tub was dirty with soap scum Although small, breakfast was plentiful and I enjoyed eating on the enclosed porch I also appreciated that we were able to get a free parking pass to the beaches (which would have cost $40 a day to purchase)"

"Perfect stay for myself, husband and the dog. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was strong. Grills are available to use for a small fee, dogs are welcome and location is a short walk to weirs beach. This was our third time staying at weirs beach motel and cottages and will be back next year."
