"Our daughter is in a power wheelchair and hotel stays can be a nightmare. Not this establishment! The accessible features were more than adequate; lower beds, walk in shower with reachable knobs, large bathroom with rails, a sink that her chair fit under and room to move around the room. It certainly wasn’t luxurious but for our situation it worked perfectly."

"Historic hotel, beautifully preserved and maintained. Front desk staff were helpful and courteous. Very pleasant, intentionally old-fashioned room without TV, mini-fridge or coffee maker in tune with the period decor. Excellent a/c and ceiling fan however. Restaurant served good quality food and an adequate American cuisine menu at mid-level prices. Breakfast menu was the typical Southern variety, but service on our Sunday morning visit was surprisingly slow. Food was good though and reasonably priced. Wakulla Springs is a beautiful location with a famous swimming area and small beach, nature-themed boat tours and hiking/birdwatching trails. Strongly recommended."
