"Much to our horror, this hotel was 50kms from Groningen where we were to stay 3 days. The taxi cost us $320 AU. We thought it was in a suburb of Groningen. The owner was lovely and helped us find another hotel in Groningen for 2 days as we wanted to visit art galleries. It is in a lovely town but not what we wanted. Won’t be using Wotif again."

Rang and got through to an English speaking person who cycled down to us to show us in and let us park the motorcycle in the locked garage. "It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."
