"Room access key should work consistently. I fafe exactly 3 times that the accesses were denied in last 2 days of our stay. Another suggestion is to provide proper access to lobby, swimming pool, gym etc. with room access at a single shot."

"Hotel was very accessible, super clean, and nicely decorated. Despite being in a beautiful older building, all amenities were modern and accessible on each floor. My only complaint is there wasn’t an ice bucket in our room or a scoop in the ice machine. Otherwise, it was great!"

"The maintenance of the property and rooms are really bad. There are spiders everywhere, they don’t clean the jacuzzi jets so black stuff comes out when you turn them on, and the floors left your feet grimy and dirty. I didn’t expect a five star hotel, but this was really bad. My partner and I also left in the middle of the night because we couldn’t take the unnerving atmosphere in the room we stayed in. Mirrors on mirrors are facing each other and it doesn’t help that this place is old."

"The loft room was clean, modern decor, newly renovated, bed was very comfortable. The only negative is there was no elevator to get to the loft room - wooden steps were pretty steep especially if you have luggage to carry up. If you are choosing room 1 above the common area I would first inquire if the wifi/tv is working. It wasn’t working for me. "The room had a beautiful lake view. There was a second room with bunk beds which was fun for the kids. Kayaking was fun, but swimming in the lake was challenging since there is no beach or ladder off the dock. My kids loved the smores over the fire pit"

"We very much enjoyed staying here. The cabin was adorable. the area to sit in to watch TV needs to have a something else to sit on besides the very low chair. My husband would not have been able to get up out of it and there is no TV in the bedroom area to lay on the bed. We had to bring a chair in from outside. The restaraunt was outstading (food and price). The staff was so nice and helpful. I would absolutly stay here again when we are in the area."

My husband and I stayed in the "Roping" Room and we appreciated that everything was so clean and the design was aesthetically pleasing. "The rooms are by far the smallest I've stayed in since a micro-boutique hotel in DC. The place tries hard but is hardly worth the premium rate that they charge by at least $100. Parking and property access is a mess. They sent us to Settler's Inn in Hawley for breakfast. Nice place - staying there next time."
