"A wonderful surprise during a two night business trip to Philly. Beautiful property tucked away in a central location, friendly staff, great rooms, and excellent gym / amenities. Can’t recommend it enough."

"Housekeeping staff and front desk staff good. Although I gave front desk a request for wake up call which wasn't made. Coffee in lobby great in the morning. Hotel is dated and needs some work, carpeting, bathrooms, etc. Will try another Hotel next visit."

"If you are planning on modern, then this is not the place for you. However I think it was worth the price I paid. Include their daily parking fee in with your reservation. There is literally no place to park. I think the cars in the free spots are glued in place because they have not moved since my arrival. Kestrel parking is a small space so beware if you drive a large vehicle. The only changes, that could improve the stay for me was nicer towels and a heavier blanket. I will reccomend...

"Excellent location right in the heart of the city. It was walkable to pretty much everything, and the subway was only about a five-minute walk away. The staff was very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. The hotel was clean, and the room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Free breakfast is included, along with complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. They also offered free beer and wine in the evening. "First the good stuff, it’s very clean and has friendly staff. However, for the price, it’s not worth it. The beds are extremely uncomfortable & older. We asked for no feather bedding/pillows due to allergies when we booked(2 months in advance & received a message confirming), when we checked in right at 3pm they advised us they didn’t have a room without feathers ready so we had to wait. They did give us a late check out for the trouble, but when we got to the room both beds had feather pillows....

"Beautiful, large room wtih tasteful, thoughtfully-selected furniture and amenities. Location was excellent for visiting the historic landmarks. Media system in room was problematic and did not work over the 5-night visit. Efforts to fix it were unsuccessful."
