"This is a hard one, The staff is very attentive, warm and hard-working. The building is incredibly historic with beautiful public spaces. Restaraunts are top draw, huge menus and the kitchens are super clean. The guest rooms need a deep clean (move the furniture and vacuum underneath) tyoe of cleaning. The rooms need a major refresh and a central theme (is it period or modern and stick with it). Get the feeling is that capital is not being spent because revenues are low on the rooms and because there is no spending, the revenue is low. It may also be that the owner is aging. The positive is that it is inexpensive, great location and wonderful character and incredible staff, downside is the rooms are not very appealing in current state."
