Our conditions of stay do not allow corporate or in-trade bookings through this channel. We cancelled your request and we notice you were accommodated differently with a discounted rate. You seem to have issues with expedia which you may be better to raise elsewhere. We thank you for your time.

We welcome all feedback and are sorry you didn't find the room type you selected as expected. Our room descriptions are quite specific - this room type is ''Twin Room (Backpacker Room Slanting Ceiling)". The managers notes identify you were offered alternative room types and were shown the room at checkin. Given we have been virtually empty for six months, we imagine your requirements for economy price and type were for a backpacker/cabin - which were as you selected. Manuka Crescent Motel

Thank you for your feedback and you are entitled to reflect your observations. We note, you chose the cheapest room available in Wanaka for your night's stay and as affordable accommodation; we are well defined in terms of expectation. Your reflection of not clean is disingenuous as our rooms are cleaned by an independent cleaning company who maintain hotel rooms through Queenstown and Wanaka. Appreciating you have taken the opportunity to write a review but in an industry and a region where hospitality is struggling to deliver, we imagine your expectation is probably better placed in a different part of NZ.
