"Lovely spot right near the beach and on the river. Our cabin was very comfortable, shower pressure and hot water was welcomed. Special shout out to the lovely young woman at Reception who was extremely welcoming. We were thankful to checkin early after a long drive from Melbourne."

"Beautiful and idyllic location with views of Sydney. The room was lovely and clean. MY 8 and 10yo granddaughters experienced their first Room service. Breakfast was good. I did think the dinner menu was limited and the pizza was a little disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The View is a lovely hotel with excellent amenities, fantastic views and fresh rooms. The breakfast is exceptional and the coffee was good. The only downside is that it is located above North Sydney station so you can hear and feel the trains right up till 12 midnight and on again from 5:30am. Maybe the upper rooms are shielded from this but level 1 isn't. This was the only issue I had, so if you do choose to book, make it clear you want a quiet room. Nothing worse than seeing nosie blocking ear...

"Wow, what a fabulous place for a Staycation. The buildings are all old and have been left in their original form however the rooms are great, the food great, the location however, fabulous. If you want a break and enjoy a walk and a glass of bubbles or two with a view, this is the place. I have lived in Sydney all my life and cannot believe I have never stayed her before. We will be back every 6 months."

Booked a female only room and felt safe throughout my stay, really liked the design of the bunk beds with their curtains, lights and convenient charging points.
