"The rooms were basically one bedroom apartments, and accommodated pets (for an additional fee), both of which was great!
Front desk staff left much to be desired. Check in was OK, but could have been friendly. When I went to report issues in my room and in my mom’s room they seemed less than helpful.
Maintenance came to my room promptly to correct the issue I reported then without anyone saying anything to me the hotel charged me $30. I learned later when I called to ask about the charge they were accusing me of damaging property, promised to reverse the charge after lecturing me (wow!), and never reversed the charge.
With my mom’s room, the TV and lights didn’t work and the middle of the bed was soaked. The bed dried by the morning, after my mom laid an extra blanket on the sheet so she could sleep. Maintenance came the next day and found the TV was left unplugged and corrected her lights too.
Breakfast was free, they have a pancake machine (that undercooks the pancakes) and the coffee is gross, but the sausage was cooked properly.
Bottom line, the idea of the property is great. In practice, housekeeping probably needs a checklist to ensure everything functions properly between guests. For your sake, don’t try to fix anything yourself (just report it and hope they’ll get to it) or you may find a mystery charge on your credit card. And don’t expect much of a personality from the front desk."
