We liked the location. It was convenient to a grocery, restaurants, and to the White House and other tourism areas. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. The hotel felt tired and in need of a facelift with flooring, wall coverings, bathroom and kitchen fixtures. However, the bedding and towels were of nice quality.

The building is so old that the whole building is on either AC or Heating. Therefore, no heat in our rooms when the room is 60F and freezing cold. The carpets were so dirty and bathroom, kitchen, and door are so old, it was not great.

An incredible option for the price we paid. Cleaning was ok and the room had enough space for 5 people, beds were really comfortable, it was a quiet place, and our room had a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and utensils.
