"Staff was great. From house keeping, front desk and door man."

"This property has clean rooms, decent pillows etc. I would have rated it higher except their restaurant is closed and apparently has been that way for a while. As their is nothing within walking distance, you have to take their shuttle (free) over to the Gaylord if you want to get something to eat."

"We were visiting a family member at GW and the location was perfect. Parking is pricey but we were so happy to get a spot in the garage. The one problem is there is construction behind the hotel so there was early morning drilling taking place behind our room."

"The garden in the backyard is amazing, the cafes and lounge are wonderful. The rooms themselves are fabulous. A main issue we had was that the hotel is under some fairly major construction. At first we were put into a very loud room right in the middle of it with stone saws going off all around the room, but after getting to the room I called down and a lovely woman came and escorted me to another quiet room in a totally different part of the hotel. From there, the stay was quite nice, except that the gorgeous park in the backyard is rendered non-relaxing all day due to the construction above, only nice at night. Would for sure stay here again when the hotel is not under construction."

"The rooms are a bit outdated, but I felt safe and the staff was wonderful. I needed the shuttle to Reagan airport in that came in super handy."

"The hotel is in great location for our conference. 10 minutes away from union Station. 15 minutes away from capital hill. The only inconvenient is not many restaurants near by."
