"I enjoy historic hotels, and the Palmer House is an excellent example. The decor is well done, especially in the lobby area. I liked the photos of celebrities who have played there. The restaurant was ok for breakfast, friendly wait staff, but nothing special. I was not able to have a drink at Porter's, so I can't comment there. The historical displays around the lobby were also great. I plan to come again!"

"Walkable to NW. Walkable to great dining for all 3 meals. The staff is great, welcoming and helpful. The property is older but so well maintained. Makes it classic instead of old. Everything looks and works great. Will stay again. Highly recommend. "
