"Best Western Lake Lucille is a very lovely property. The staff were all very friendly with dining tips, activity ideas and snacks. The hot breakfast was great and sent us off for the day with treats for snacking. Our lake view room was standard in size but had a beautiful view of the lake and freshly manicured property. "Very nice small hotel. Great amenities and would be very comfortable for an extended stay. In room kitchenette and comfortable clean beds. Right on the highway so roadway a bit noisy (pretty quiet 11pm-6am though) Our room was right across from the check in room and could hear all conversations from that too. I think a set of ear plugs would have fixed the problem. Close to shopping and medical. Will stay again if needed."

"We had to fly out of Anchorage the next day, but the last thing we wanted to do was end a wonderful Alaskan vacation in the middle of the city, so we stayed at Pioneer Ridge B&B and it was extraordinary. Setting and view were spectacular. Lots of eye candy all over the lodge, Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the lemon blueberry pancakes in the morning are to die for. Thoroughly recommend this peaceful, beautiful stay."

"Carol has an amazing place by the lake which is cozy and homely. Very friendly, accommodating and goes above and beyond to help. The breakfast was great. The other guests were amazing and friendly. "Parking was good safety good. Resturant was nice$$$.room had nothing but bed table one bedside table one small chair. Noting to keep cold or heat food. Bed was awful sunk in middle and bottom sheet had stain. Door had no double way to lock so kept suitcase in front"

"This hotel was the bomb. Unfortunately we were there on a Monday my birthday and there restaurant was closed but other restaurants in the area are great. Highly recommend this hotel."

"What a great place! To have a kitchen and washer/dryer was exactly what we needed PLUS what a cute house!! Everything was super clean and well maintained. And we loved the bunnies hanging out in the yard! We noticed the sauna on the last day, so we didn’t get to ask if we could use them - but what a great little addition. We totally look forward to returning in the future. MAHALO!"

"Very, very disappointed. Small pokey room with noisy a/c and fridge. Thin walls which allowed next rooms TV to be very disturbing. Lots of traffic noise. Entrance and reception was fine but it did not reflect the poor standard of our accommodation. As I said... very disappointed."

"Some of the staff was quite well but unfortunately others were lousy. The morning we left and needed a ride to the bus stop, after having just discussed with Jason in office, the driver refused to wait. I walked out of our room the precise moment he originally was going to leave and he drove off. He obviously would not wait 60 seconds for us to walk down the stairs. Another issue was with front desk. When I asked if she could make more coffee. Her response was "who drank it all" not in a joking...

"We booked for 2 queen bed, but front desk executive said all rooms are full and gave a king bed room which was really tight to fit in 3 adults. Toilet was not clean and the worst part was flush was not working. No alternate room was provided and no maintenance guy came in the night. My wife has a medical condition and she had to suffer a lot in this whole transaction during midnight hours. Refund was also not provided."
