"I would not recommend this property to anyone who does not speak Thai or have their own car. We were mislead by their decriptionn of the property, where it claimed it was a 2 minute walk to the ruins and that they had a pool.There was no one at reception the whole time, no manager we could talk to and we had to find the cleaning staff to try and check us in. Our room was not ready and we waited for almost 2 hours in 38° in a non air-conditioned lobby. Because of the language barrier we never did figure out if they served breakfast. The pool had been closed for 2 months or demolished, as we never found it. There were a lot of cats everywhere. And when we returned after 8 hours of walking in 38° heat, there was no water in our bathroom. There are no restaurants, stores or amenities near by as it is in a village. The air conditioning worked well and the view of the river was lovely."

"The woman who runs the hotel is so kind and helpful. She greeted us at 6 in the morning after our night train. When we finally emerged from our rooms at 11, she offered to make breakfast. She arranged a drive for us and helped us Loy Kratong. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The only complaint is that the beds are like rocks, but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. "
