"Courteous staff and good location."

"Overall, the property was wonderful my 15 year-old grandson loved going down to the river and walking across on the rocks in the evening we bought a eight dollar pack of four pieces of wood and the front desk had firestarter and loaned us a lighter to start it. Sat by the fire, listening to the river before bed. It was very nice and the front desk had wonderful suggestions for dinner and breakfast was very nice wide selection. The room was very clean. We did have some dirt that may have been...

"Ice machine not working on any floor except the 1st floor."

"The inn was very clean. We had a screened porch and it was very peaceful to sit and watch the creek. The swings and decks outside the creek were well kept. The staff was very nice. We were right across from Joey’s so breakfast was close. We plan to come back next time we come to Maggie Valley."

"Great stay for a trip with my friends and I. The only hotel with rooms that had 3 beds which is what accommodated our needs. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Check out the Oconaluftee Islands Park across the street if you get a chance. The bamboo forest is so pretty. I’d definitely stay here again."

"The rooms were really nice , the staff so helpful , they told me how to get to different places even made copies of the directions, breakfast was real good , did wish they would had biscuits and gravy . They cleaned the room every day without us asking ,will definitely stay there next time we go that direction"

"This is an older property but is very nice for the price. We stayed in three different hotels over three days and this had the best breakfast and the most bang for your buck."

"Great stay!! Staff and breakfast was great!"

"We’ve stayed here twice now. Easy to access and conveniently located to restaurants, fast food, gas and groceries. Most of all it’s only 10 minutes away from the entrance to the Smokies and the Blue Ridge Parkway."

"Staff was very rude told me no more rooms were available. I then went to the parking lot and booked with no problem. Then she wanted to act nice and apologize."
