Turned out it was totally unplugged, as was the phone—so returning to our room at 11:30 at night, we had no phone because someone disconnected it…we thought both things unplugged was rather strange. Refrigerator ran loudly all night. Got up to shower the next morning and there was no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower.
