"It was just ok. A little old and outdated and could use some renovations for sure, but clean and worked for a quick overnight stay. Our room smelled like someone had spilled a bottle of Drakkar Noir in there, not sure what that was all about. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, clean room near the airport this fits the bill. Good food in the restaurant and the shuttle service to and from the airport was appreciated."

"Elevator was broken and we were on the 3rd floor with a 9 month old baby. Went down for breakfast at 9:40am to be told they were closed. Others were still eating and I wanted to get toast for my baby. Tv was terrible. Bed was comfy tho."

"Friendly and helpful staff - from the front desk to housekeeping. Room was clean and spacious, with large fridge and stovetops, dishes and cutlery - great for a family of four that wants to save money and cut down on restaurant visits. One big negative was the mattress on the fold out couch, which was very thin and not suitable for two adults. It might be ok for two small children, but I would recommend upgrading the mattresses. Overall, good experience at a hotel that was within easy walking...

"It was a great location. The only thing I would change for the room I was in are the windows. Even though the weather was great, the windows couldn’t open and the air conditioner had to be on if I was inside."

"Suite was wonderful! Everything we needed…and then some. Bed was really comfortable! Pool was great, but it would have been nice if there had been frequent check-ins by staff to ensure rules were being followed. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety and a nice atmosphere. Restaurant was excellent, too. Food was delicious. We’ll be back!"

"The pictures, while from the hotel, misrepresented what we actually got. The pictures looked elegant and spacious, but the reality was small and old, in need of updating. We left a lengthy list with the receptionist of things that needed to be fixed. The short version of that list is: tv didn’t work, internet kept dropping, multiple paint gouges on walls, breakfast (eggs, meat) was cold, dust/dirt along walls in bedroom, bathroom, leaking tub, and the stairwell. I’m not sure how to describe the...

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond to any special requests. The complimentary breakfast in the lobby offered a great selection and was an excellent way to start the day. This hotel met all of our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
