It is an older motel but they have done a lot of work to update it. Its clean and quiet. I was impressed with the updated carpets and AC. Checking in was easy and the office staff were nice. Very convenient to the highway as well.

The weather turned unexpectedly cold and I fell ill while traveling. What a relief to find this nice little place. The heat worked well and kept me comfortable. Everything was clean and in good repair. I was pleasantly surprised by the update furnishing. My room even had a microwave. I would definitely recommend it if you need a travel stop in that part of Kansas.

We'd stay again

The room was clean and well-kept, the parking lot was well-lit, and the hotel had easy access on and off the highway. It had the basic necessities, no frills. Ice and vending machines were available.

This is older motel, but our room is clean. The door sags and needs some maintenance, but not a deal breaker. Gas, convenience stores, and restaurants close by. Overall 8.5 out of 10. Good place to stop when traveling.

It was clean, looked safe around so we weren’t worried about a vehicle break in. Nice place for what it is, a roadside 50’s motel. Had 70 yr old carpet on the floor and the padding was audibly crumbling when walked on. If you can’t make it any further, it’s a good place to stop for the night.

Older motel but they keep it clean.

This is a super old motel in the middle of nowhere. There is a gas station next door with a diner type restaurant and Wendy’s. We were in emporia for a bike race so we found this and the cost was so cheap so we got what we expected. The floor was slanted in their room and again it is super old, but they keep it very clean and come and empty your trash daily. We slept good and that’s all that matters so if you need a place to rest, your head is definitely clean and does the job.
