"We liked the friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. But we did not like room 209 it has no view. It should not cost as much as the other rooms. If we had know that in advance we would have gotten another room."

"Good hotel for the price. But don’t expect much from the breakfast bar! We were running behind and stopped in to grab a coffee but the coffee machine wasn’t working and the orange and apple juice machine was out! Luckily there was a gas station around the corner! Amazing how 1 cup of coffee would have changed the whole review!!!"

"Amazing place to stay in when in Darien. Dave and JoAnn were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The inn is located in the quiet neighborhood. Great views of the marsh from their patio. Room was very clean and cozy. Will stay here again next time we’re in town."

"Only stayed over night just to sleep, there for only 8.5 hrs. Room was decent, it was dark and hard to find where the light switches are and how to turn on the lamps. Sheets were rough and the bathroom doesn’t vent well. They do have a continental breakfast with your usual, eggs, sausage, bacon, bagel, toast and juices."

The mattresses were sorn so much that all you felt was springs and dips in the matress. The pillows flattened down to nothing. My sleep was interrupted many times because I was uncomfortable as was my wife. My son and his family had the sam experience in their room. Also, the bathroom had a pocket door that was cut so crooked that it would not lock. I will be choosing...

"The room I was asigned to was not to be desire. The bathtub was not clean the floorboards in the bedroom, where the cable is supposed to be connected was hanging out from the wall. The room was just disgusting. The smell of it smelled like mole.
