"We came to enjoy the pool during spring break with our two small kids and found so much more to explore! We live a little over an hour away in the downtown Pittsburgh area. Great food (we are at Trace and Skyline), friendly staff, great breakfast sandwich + good coffee at the coffee shop! We loved the zoo so much that we visited twice - we paid for the extra animal experience at the zoo the first day we went, hours were a little short so this took up most of our visit, but was worth EVERY penny for the kids!! We loved how extended the indoor pool hours were, esp cause that was the #1 request from the kids! Lots of beautiful outdoor space too! We can’t wait to come back in full summer to enjoy the outdoor pool and for the Christmas lights! "

"Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Couch had stains on it and bathroom is ok. Shower is outdated. Bar is very good. Staff great. Drink selections great. Center bar is our favorite. Food is very good."

"We stayed at this property for one night and reserved two rooms. Unfortunately, one of the rooms we were given had not been cleaned at all. There were no pillowcases on the bed, the pillows were left on the floor, and the curtains were wide open as if the room had just been vacated. There was trash still in the trash can, and the bathroom had clearly been used multiple times and not serviced. To make matters worse, we were told at check-in that a bagged breakfast would be provided the next morning. However, when we followed up, the hostess stated that there was nothing being given out. This was very misleading and felt like false advertising. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness and honest communication are basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately, neither was met."

"The staff was welcoming and nice, but there was surprisingly no internet since we arrived before 7 pm until the next day in the evening. This completely ruined my first night as I couldn't complete important work on my laptop and had no means of communication. The next day, I requested room service before leaving the hotel and came back in the evening to find the room in the same condition I left it. The next morning at 8:00 AM, I went for breakfast but there was no milk. When I asked, I was nicely informed that "we ran out of milk and nothing to refill." This is basic stuff that should not be lacking early in the morning. It would be helpful if the management could have a contingency plan to rescue such situations. I don't like writing bad reviews, but I think it's necessary at this time, maybe it could help others and save even bigger issues in the future. Thank you"
