We booked a room at the Bolton for our anniversary. It was a standard room (my booking mistake) The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the Wi-Fi was good, the buffet breakfast was nice. The location was excellent but the room was OK abit tired and windows overlooked the roof. I was abit disappointed.

Good downtown location. Used the pool and hot tub both of which were nice. Our Ferry out the next day was 3.5 hours late so they let us leave our car in the parking garage (we had valet parking the previous day) all the next day at no additional cost. Cooked in the kitchenette but the dinner menu looked good. The washer/dryer did not work well so beware.

The room was spotless and it was in a more quiet part of the hallway as requested. We had a breakfast one morning- it was very basic for a hotel claiming 5 stars or 4.5. Actually I was very disappointed. Limited choice and we did not go again. Coffee was not hot and no espresso coffee offered although there was a proper coffee machine available. Our mattress was too soft. However some interaction with the staff was helpful and positive.
