"The Coachman Inn offers both interior‑corridor and exterior room access, which is convenient. The property is older, but the rooms are surprisingly large and nicely furnished. Parking is right outside each room, though the lot has definitely seen better days and has quite a few potholes. That said, the rooms themselves are extremely comfortable and immaculately clean. For the price, it’s a solid value, and I would absolutely stay here again."

"Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Portsmouth with the most wonderful staff! Our room was very well decorated, mattress was very comfortable and noise level low. We enjoyed playing pool in the bar area. Breakfast was delicious and more than we expected. The entire experience took us back to Europe. Thank you! "
