"This was a decent value and in a good location in Wells. New property and seemed like they were still working some small kinks out. I would judge it slightly less in quality than its fairly direct competitors. Some of the non-chain but similar quality hotels in Wells/Ogunquit are a bit better."

"My husband and I stayed 4/23/26 - 4/26/2026. We check in go to our room we open the door the place looked nice and smelled good but was not as I had expected, it said in the reviews that they renovated a year or 2 ago, it looked old. The microwave was missing a leg so we had to make sure our food didn't spill in the microwave. The fire alarm had a low battery and kept squeaking and saying low battery i immediately called the front desk the lady came directly to our room and tried to change the battery, she couldn't. She was very nice but she called someone else to try to help they didn't seem to care. We were then told we had to change our room, we had 2 different rooms to choose from neither were like our room so we ended up staying in a room without a fire alarm. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet is way too low to the floor ( im 4'9") and it was low for me. The bed was nice to sleep on and had light switches and charging ports as well as an electrical outlet only 1 side worked the other was broken. Our experience was just ok, not anything great or what I was expecting. I would give it a 7/10"

"Firs, I will say the towels were clean. The room however was shabby beyond compare. The floor isn't level. There are holes in the wall. The curtains are falling off the rod and held in place with zip ties. There were dead bugs on the floor. The rug was stained. The bed was sunken in the middle. The dead bolt on the door doesn't work. I don't know how this owner can allow people to stay there in this condition."
