"Staff, service and food were excellent. Exactly when you'd come to expect from a Holiday Inn. Sadly however the room looked tired and in need of some much needed TLC with a distinct lack of beside plugs and although the room was at far end of the building and away from general foot traffic it was right above the air handling units and plant so was noisey at night. "Clean room with a tea and coffee tray, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board. The beds were comfortable, although we found the mattresses a bit on the hard side, but that’s probably a matter of personal preference. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of both hot and continental options. The only real issue was the soundproofing. We could hear every single step outside and every word from the room next to us."

"Spacious and clean room. Check in was ok but bar and restaurant staff left a lot to be desired. No pay facility at bar. The roof top bar seemed to be just a balcony. Which was ok but not a rooftop bar as expected. Bar staff slow and left us standing there for some time although bar wasn’t busy. They got out order wrong and were so slow we couldn’t have the drinks we wanted. "Perfectly located in Sheffield city centre close to many bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely clean room, friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast to send you on your way. "

"We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again."
