"As a solo female traveler, I was a bit surprised at the location of my “first” room. I was at the very end of the hall, next to the stair well and across from the trash room. The hallway did smell a bit because the trash room door was propped open but the room itself did not. I was not comfortable with the location so requested a room change - something closer to an elevator - more in the mix and was accommodated without question. The room was very clean, comfortable and I felt better in the new...

"This recently remodeled motel was completely charming. We had a room accessible directly from the parking lot, and it was decorated beautifully. The nautical theme extended throughout. The bathroom was large, beautifully tiled, and perfectly functional. Towels were changed daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with nice cotton sheets. We would stay there again."

"Staff to a person were friendly and personable and professional. Room was clean with all systems functioning well. Location is in the Historic District in attractive neighborhood. It is at the intersection of two quite busy roads but road noise was not an issue. Standard hotel free breakfast is served in a very pleasant room. Afternoon wine and cheese in the lobby is a nice touch. All in all, a pleasant stay."
