After getting ourself some pickup food, the landlord of this “house” stumped in our door accusing me of making noise, which of course was not true. cursing and threaten me.. of course i did not take the verbal abuse and told her to go away. her husband came back and kicked me out of the place and had to call 911 to ensure the incident got recorded. most terrible experience and first time ever i make this kind of review. additionally, this is a house (not a hotel) and not in-suite bathrooms are available. i strongly recommend to stay away from this place

The host was really wonderful. Made it a great experience and she is very hospitable. The problem I have is that the picture provided when I booked the property was of a room with a living area next to the bed (all in one room), which is what I originally liked. I wanted something roomy with a separate living area. When we got there we were given a room with no living area. I wish the pictures would represent the room we would be getting instead. A little disappointing

quiet comfort

First time at this Lakefront Home. Quiet street close to town and plenty of room to relax. Very easy access to hwy in either direction. Hosts are very nice and this place is a quiet retreat.

Overall good property, heated pool is great. The only inconvenience is separate bathrooms and shower room downstairs. It’s ok just for one night.

The good: Location was easy to get to and from, parking was easy and bedding was soft. The bad: To start, I had booked online, and was later told they had double booked and told to cancel it myself - despite by booking being not cancellable on Expedia. Later, the reached out and booked me in as they had a cacellation. It seems disorganized. More disorganization around check in as my room wasn't ready on arrival - they called on arrival day and asked for more time to which I agreed. After agreeing to a later checkin, I would hope that the room would be ready, but they still were having issues. Some miscommunication around kitchen use and coffee service. However, there was a long tiarade around my daughter's age - who they incorrectly assumed was a minor and not allowed on property. She's 26 and we found it unnecessary. The towels were old and rough. Like someone's old towels from the 80's. My biggest issue with the home was that it had a smell of cigarette odor upon entering. For anyone sensitive to smells I would highly suggest elsewhere.

REALLY NICE HOME, COMFORTABLE MATTRESS, NICE QUAINT HEATED POOL, Great Lake VIEW. NO BATHROOM IN OUR ROOM. USED POWDER ROOM OFF KITCHEN FOR NORMAL BUSINESS BUT HAD TO GO DOWNSTAIRS FOR A SHOWER. NO HAIR DRYER. 3PM CHECK IN DID NOT HAPPEN. 4:30 PM WE GOT OUR ROOM.

A lovely clean home and nice host. This isn’t a small hotel or on or really close to the lake. You can see the lake, unless we missed a path across the street. We had a room which was clean, and had a tv, dresser, table and bathroom. There were no extra towels if you used the pool, she may have gotten them if asked I suppose. No shampoo, soft soap - not anything special etc. The pool was lovely. Due to covid you booked a time to use it which was nice. You do have limited access to a fridge, but she will bring ice. It’s a shared common space rental essentially. There are about 8 stairs to the front entrance.

Overall very nice place

Everything was clean and private. The owner, Patrice, was very nice and accommodating. Each room has its own ensuite. No breakfast served due to Covid restrictions but we were not informed ahead of time. Mix up with our booking between home away and the property owner. Expedia took over Homeaway and VRBO I believe so our booking was moved there but again absolutely no communication of the change or with any check in information so we were very nervous that we wouldn't have a place to stay. Worked out well in the end though.
