Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio SeaWorld - Westover Hills

"We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations we have for a Marriott property. The biggest issue was housekeeping. We were told rooms are not serviced until after a four-night stay. During our visit, our trash was never emptied, we had to request clean towels, and we even ran out of toilet paper and had to call the front desk for more. Basic necessities like these should not require guests to ask. We were also disappointed that the swim-up bar wasn’t open on our first evening. Since we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, it was one of the amenities we were looking forward to enjoying. The pool area could also use better maintenance. The windows overlooking the indoor pool were covered with what appeared to be hard water stains, making them look dirty and taking away from the overall appearance. Customer service was inconsistent. Cris was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He made us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, not all staff members provided the same level of service. Overall, we left disappointed. We expected better housekeeping, cleaner facilities, and all advertised amenities to be available. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests have a better experience."
