"This place was great! The gentleman that checked us in (please forgive me, I did not catch his name) was AWESOME!! He got us a great room on the 40th floor with a view of the city that was breathe taking. We said hello and good night to out favorite place on Earth. The place is a little dated but it was clean and had decent bathroom towels. There were light buttons all over the place which was convenient and confusing all at the same time lol. Walking distance to anything was perfect and there is a Walgreens right up the street in case you forget anything. Another nice perk is that the $38 resort fee can be used in the cafe and restaurant. A very nice touch! Overall, we really like this place and will definitely stay again."

"Room brings back nostalgia. We stayed in Ernest Hemingway’s inspired room and I’m so surprised by the transformation they made. Most of the place that you would want to visit in NYC is within its vicinity. The subway stations are near. Unfortunately, our terraces are closed due to ongoing exterior façade maintenance required by New York City which is understandable. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Mid Manhattan. For history buffs famous actress Marilyn Monroe and her husband Baseball Player Joe DiMaggio stayed here for a while."
