"Right after arriving and unpacking, I went for a walk around the area. After a minute, a very polite yellow lab trotted up to my side and gave me a nice tour in exchange for several scritches and pats. 10/10 employee(s). As for the accommodations, it was very comfortable and relaxing without feeling like too much "resort". Will be back!"

"We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. "The Staff were extremely kind, The little shop was quaint. The outside surrounding was eh. The room itself was a no thrills room and was tiny. It had new vinyl floors which was nice. But the bathroom was not updated at all. The bed was comfy. And the heat worked great, it got cold the night i stayed."

"The hotel has not been updated, and it would’ve been fine, if it was clean, but it wasn’t. There are stains on the carpet, we found someone else’s sock under the bed, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were broken and stained, the tub was lined with mold, and the sink looked like it was falling off the wall. As we were checking in, another guest was complaining about it raining in her room (it was raining outside). You also cannot flush the toilet before showering. I will never stay here again."
