"The lift was broken so the service lift was the only option. However the landing areas were 'behind the scenes' and poor quality. I did not much care for the long black hairs stuck to the walls of the shower from a previous guest. Clearly not a good cleaning regime. The shower has my pet hate. The shower controls are behind the door. You can't use them without being inside it and it is too small to avoid getting the inevitable blast of cold water that is living in the pipes before whatever the previous selected temperature lands on you. The breakfast was very good -freshly cooked and delivered on a plate. Not the usual buffet."

"The room smelt very damp when we walked in due to the bathroom door being open and the smell was coming from there . The bedroom was clean but dated but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. It needs a overhaul soon. We was in room 28 on the ground floor . The floor boards made a dreadful noise to say its on the ground floor"

"Great value stay. The reception area was well presented. Staff were very friendly. We ate in the restaurant and had the pizza and burgers. Both were good the burgers were very thick. The rooms were starting to look a little dated but were absolutely fine. Breakfast was a little underwhelming. They were set up to offer buffet but I think lack of numbers in the hotel that night meant we had table service. It did the job though. Overall very happy with what we got for the price spent. "
